Kelsey Wang, who plays Allie Nguyen, has been bumped from contract status to recurring status on The Young and the Restless according to closing credits last week. The actress has not publicly commented since the news broke but she did remove “Allie on Y&R” from her Instagram bio since the news broke.
Rory Gibson, who plays Noah Newman, was also bumped to recurring. Gibson started as Noah in October of 2021 and Wang debuted as Allie in March of this year.
