Actor Clayton James (ex-Kevin Townsend, When Calls the Heart) has been cast as “Chuck” in the upcoming CBS family drama “So Help Me Todd.” The series also stars Marcia Gay Harden, Skylar Astin, and Madeline Wise.


The show centers on a talented P.I. (Astin) who agrees to work as the in-house investigator for his mother (Harden), a successful attorney, who is also overbearing and reeling from the recent dissolution of her marriage.


The series is scheduled to premiere on CBS on September 29, 2022.
