CBS has officially given a pilot order to The Never Game according to Deadline. It is a drama series adaptation of Jeffery Deaver’s novel and follows a lone-wolf survivalist called, Colter Shaw (played by Justin Hartley) who roams the country as a “reward seeker,” using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family. Hartley also serves as an executive producer with his former This Is Us colleague Ken Olin, who will direct the pilot. Ben Winters is now listed as a writer.
