Actor Devale Ellis (Zac, Sistas and Zatima) is set to appear in the new comedy television series Everything’s Trash.
The series follows Phoebe (Phoebe Robinson) a podcast star who is navigating her messy, but amazing life. When her brother Jayden (Jordan Carlos, also co-writes and co-produces) emerges as a leading politician, she’s forced to grow up, so she relies on her friends and family to help her figure out adulthood. The show also stars Moses Storm.
Ellis is set to portray “Damien Washington” in the seventh episode of Season 1 titled “Rom-Coms Are Mostly Trash.” The logline for the episode reads “After Phoebe suddenly sees Michael in a new light, she attempts to set him up with Malika, who already has her eye on an old flame; Jayden worries that he and Jessie have lost their spark, so they decide to spice things up.” The episode is scheduled to air on Freeform on August 17, 2022.
“Everything’s Trash” premiered Wednesday, July 13. New episodes air weekly on Freeform at 10 p.m. ET and are available the next day on Hulu.
