Actress Crystal Renee Hayslett is set to star in the upcoming musical, romance, film Praise This. Also starring alongside Hayslett are Anjelika Washington, Chloe Bailey, and Tristan Wilds among others.
The story centers on youth choirs gathering together for a music competition.
The screenplay was written by Camilla Blackett, Brandon Broussard, Tina Gordon, Hudson Obayuwana, and Jana Savage. The movie is directed by Tina Gordon and is produced by James Lopez, Will Packer, Tim Story, and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett.
The project is scheduled to wrap up production next month with an anticipated release date sometime in 2023.
