For about the past twenty-five years, Omari Hardwick’s artistic talents have been on full display in television, television and feature films, and music videos alike.
The Georgia native was a star athlete in high school playing baseball, basketball, and football, and then attended the University of Georgia on a football scholarship. At the same time, Hardwick had an interest in the arts and expressed his interests through acting and poetry.
Hardwick began his acting career in the early 2000s. His big-screen credits comprise hit movies like Beauty Shop, For Colored Girls, Sparkle, Miracle at St. Anna, and Army of the Dead.
In television, Hardwick has appeared on several popular television shows. He is best known for his portrayal of James “Ghost” St. Patrick on the Starz crime drama television series Power.
Hardwick has several upcoming projects set to be released in 2023 including the movies The Mothership, To Live and Die and Live and The Mother.
