Matthew Langford Perry died on October 28, 2023, according to TMZ. He was born on August 19, 1969, and was a renowned American-Canadian actor, comedian, and producer. He became an international sensation in the 1990s for his portrayal of Chandler Bing on the NBC television sitcom Friends (1994–2004). In addition to his role in Friends, Perry also starred in the short-lived television series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and made appearances in several films, including Fools Rush In, Almost Heroes, The Whole Nine Yards, 17 Again, and The Ron Clark Story. He also lent his voice to the character of Benny in the video game Fallout: New Vegas.
Perry, played a significant role in creating and producing several TV sitcoms. Perry co-created, co-wrote, starred and served as an executive producer for the ABC sitcom “Mr. Sunshine” which aired from February to April 2011. In August 2012, he played the lead role of Ryan King, a sportscaster, in the NBC sitcom “Go On”. However, unfortunately, the show was cancelled on May 10, 2013. Perry also co-developed and starred in the CBS sitcom “The Odd Couple” from 2015 to 2017, portraying the character of Oscar Madison.
He died on October 28, 2023, after being found dead and apparently drowning in a jacuzzi at his home.
