Jen Lilley is already set to say goodbye to Theresa on Days of our Lives, but in classic soap fashion, a shocking twist is allowing Theresa to stay while her portrayer returns to Great American Family movies.
As previously revealed, Lilley reached out to the producers of Days of our Lives looking to return to the series briefly to honor the legendary John Aniston as Lilley and Aniston played many scenes together during her time with the series.
They were able to work out an agreement, but Days wasn’t quite ready to let go of Theresa after Jen’s limited availability came to an end. As revealed on Soap Opera News, Lilley is going to hand off the character of Theresa to a new actor very soon!
Who will be stepping into the role? It is officially unconfirmed but rumors have been swirling for weeks since the revelation as the new portrayer will be a “familiar” face to Days of Our Lives fans.
