Abigail Deveraux DiMera had an offscreen funeral on Days of Our Lives. Many viewers wanted to know why a beloved and legacy character would not get an onscreen funeral and Ron Carlivati, the head writer for the show explained, “Abigail’s funeral is off-screen because there would be hundreds of people there and we are only budgeted for an average of 12 characters per day.”
Abigail was played by Marci Miller at the time the character was killed off!
