Hallmark Movies Now, Hallmark Media’s fast-growing streaming service, offers subscribers a fresh slate of programming this August with continued episodes of “Chesapeake Shores” Season 6 and 11 new movies starting on Thursdays.

At a crossroads in her career and love life, Allison (Pittman) is in need of the love and support of her two closest friends Melina (Drake) and Reesa (Ash).  When they visit her in Tuscany, the reunion causes each woman to reexamine the state of her own life and relationships.  While they have different personalities and perspectives, they know each other’s truths and help to make life-changing decisions.  Allison is wary of taking the next step with Nico (Seta), the handsome Italian man she has grown close to, as her time in Italy is temporary and she is focused on a promotion.  As the trip helps Reesa to find some much-needed clarity, she is questioning her future with her husband, Andre (Gross).  Having recently recovered from a difficult illness, chef Melina is playing things safe until charming chef Lucas (Love) has her thinking of taking new risks.  Between the good wine, delicious food and a healthy serving of romance set against the beautiful backdrop of Tuscany the three women relish in the importance of friendship and inspire each other to make this next season the best one yet and to take the leap to pursue the life and loves they have always wanted.

‘SOUTH BEACH LOVE’

Sara (Cole) is catering her niece’s quinceañera, but the 15th birthday celebration becomes complicated when her former boyfriend Tony (Levy) returns to Miami to cater his own niece’s quinceañera…taking place the very same weekend.  The situation gets a bit prickly when Sara and Tony are pitted against each other to win the cover of a local magazine.  The families who were once close are now at odds over the conflicting quinceañeras, leaving fences to mend if their friendship will be restored.  As Sara and Tony try to outdo each other and put on the perfect party, will their reunion spark a rivalry or lead them to romance?

And once it is discovered that Aurora’s blossoming relationship with Professor Nick Miller (Matter) might be the source of jealousy that is driving the crime spree, Aurora must be especially careful not to become the next victim.

‘SEALED WITH A KISS: WEDDING MARCH 6

Curt (Witte) and Autumn (Stryker) are looking forward to their upcoming wedding at Mick (Wagner) and Olivia’s (Bissett) Willow Lake Inn and both are in the public eye – Curt is an actor whose star is rising, and Autumn writes a popular children’s book series.  They’ve planned an intimate celebration without glitz and glamour to match their down-to-earth lifestyle.  Once at the Inn, a last-minute interview for Curt’s next film pops up and before they know it, a film crew arrives.  Soon, word about their wedding gets out and the low-key affair morphs into anything but that.  Though Mick and Olivia quickly pivot to pull it off, Autumn has concerns about the direction the wedding is headed and how Curt’s celebrity status will affect their lives.  Together the couple needs to figure out how to handle the changes coming their way and decide what will be best for their relationship.  Meanwhile, Mick and Olivia are finally getting ready to say, “I do,” but their plans are called into question when Mick gets a touring opportunity Olivia won’t let him turn down.  It looks like they will have to postpone their own trip to the altar until a last-minute change in plans gives both couples the wedding of their dreams.

‘POISONED IN PARADISE: A MARTHA’S VINEYARD MYSTERY’
Stars: Sarah Lind, Jesse Metcalfe, Erik Keenleyside, Chelsea Hobbs

Jeff’s (Metcalfe) reputation for “unofficially” solving the island’s most dangerous crimes is growing.  When Katie (Britt McKillip, Trick ‘r Treat), a young waitress, finds herself way in over her head with the wrong people, she shows up seeking his help.  Jeff urges her to go directly to the police but she’s too scared to follow through.  When Katie sadly turns up dead – murdered by poison – Jeff wonders if he could have helped her and the crime becomes personal for him.  Teamed up with Zee (Lind), he must unravel the dangerous plot Katie had tried to warn him about to catch her killer.  The shocking case leaves Jeff and Zee little time to discuss the kiss they had shared in Boston and what it means for their relationship.  Meanwhile, the mystery back in Boston deepens when Jeff and Andy (Nelson Wong, “Riverdale”) seem close to catching the person who shot Jeff, until an FBI agent shows up and takes over, shutting them out.

‘RAISE A GLASS TO LOVE’

Since growing up on her late grandmother’s vineyard, Jenna Savern (Osnes) has dreamed of becoming a Master Sommelier.  Determined to join her role model Jennifer Huether as one of the few women to pass the notoriously difficult exam – despite having failed her previous two attempts and with little support from her restauranteur boyfriend – Jenna takes any opportunity she can to study.  When she’s called back to the family vineyard to help her father (Eric Keenleyside, “Superman & Lois”) throw a surprise anniversary party, she sees it as the perfect chance to get away and focus.  While there, Jenna meets the vineyard’s handsome new head winemaker Marcelo (Di Pace), who has successfully turned around small vineyards all over the world using natural methods he learned growing up in Argentina.  Marcelo soon has Jenna looking at wine, and her long-held dreams, in a new way.  As exam day approaches and Marcelo is offered a job that would take him halfway around the world, she learns that sometimes the best pairing is the one you never expected.

‘MUDER SHE BAKED: A PEACH COBBLER MYSTERY’

Sitting in her nearly empty store, Hannah Swensen (Sweeney) can only hope that the popularity of the new Magnolia Blossom Bakery is just a passing fad.  The southern hospitality of Eden Lake’s two newest residents, Melanie and Vanessa Quinn, is grating on Hannah’s nerves – and cutting into her profits.  Then Hannah finds Melanie shot to death.  Everyone in town knew the Cookie Jar’s business was suffering…which makes Hannah a suspect.

‘TAKING THE REINS’

When Samantha (DeLoach) is told by her magazine editor that she needs to put more of herself into her writing, she decides to go back home to her family’s horse ranch to write an article about the one subject she’s always been passionate about: horses.  With her family hosting the annual Equestrian Competition this year it should be easy.  But once there, Sam will have to face her past, which not only includes her reason for giving up riding, but also why her marriage fell apart with ex-husband Luke (Porter).

‘MYSTERY 101: DEAD TALK’
Stars: Jill Wagner, Kristoffer Polaha, Robin Thomas

Amy (Wagner) heads to the big city to give an address as part of a TEDTalk-style lecture series run by Amy’s ex from grad school, Tim Bishop (Matthew James Dowden).  When one of her fellow speakers, a genius inventor, is killed in a freak accident, Amy suspects foul play.  But the local cops shut her out of the investigation, so she calls upon Travis (Polaha) to help.  He is quick to suspect Tim, but Travis may have other reasons for not liking the man.  After Amy and Travis discover the dead man was an informant in a corporate espionage case, Amy knows why the cops stonewalled her.  She and Travis sniff out a motley collection of potential killers, including a corporate CEO, a trust fund kid and the dead man’s wife.  Amy will prove that you can take the crime-solver out of the small town, but that’s not going to stop her from solving crimes.

‘LOVE STRIKES TWICE’

Maggie (Findlay) and Josh (Nash) are a married couple who have gotten out of sync.  When Maggie wishes for a do-over, she and wakes up the next morning and inexplicably finds she was transported 15 years into the past.  Once she shakes off her confusion and gets her bearings, Maggie sees this as a chance to find out what her life would’ve been if she had stayed with her ex-boyfriend Rick (Williams).  But revisiting the past with her present-life experiences causes Maggie to see things – and people – in a new light.  Will her new-found perspective lead Maggie to choose Josh again or will Rick be her happily ever after?

‘REDEMPTION IN CHERRY SPRINGS’

Melanie (Aytes) is an award-winning, investigative journalist in Boston who returns home to her small town of Cherry Springs for a much-needed break after fallout from a major story.  Her Uncle Joe (Faison) is thrilled to have his niece home as she’s his only remaining family after Melanie’s mother passed away.  Her quiet visit home quickly becomes anything but that when her childhood friend Tony (Rajiv Sharma, “Star”) suddenly goes missing.  Melanie uses her investigative skills to unearth the facts surrounding his disappearance, much to the dismay of Jake Collins (Robinson), the new detective in town who’s on the case.  While Jake doesn’t approve of her methods, he can’t deny Melanie’s contributions are helpful.  Working together, they follow a path of twists and turns until they uncover the shocking truth.
