Richard Simmons (who appeared many times on General Hospital as himself) has finally broken his silence. Simmons has disappeared from the public eye for more than 8 years but took the time to come on social media to show his gratitude for his supporters. On the heels of a documentary about his life and disappearance from TMZ, he wrote on Facebook, “Thank you, everyone, for your kindness and love! ❤️ Love, Richard.” The documentary, “TMZ Investigates: What Really Happened to Richard Simmons” was released on FOX and Hulu just days before his Facebook post. His official Facebook account regularly shares old clips and workout videos but it’s the first in a long time that he has posted a direct message on the account. The same was well supported by his fans, see below!
