Today on Days of Our Lives: Gwen conducts her interview with Dimitri. Maggie interrupts Xander and Chloe to offer Xander a job. Bonnie blabs to Justin. On the one-year anniversary of Abigail’s death, Chad pays her gravesite a visit. Stephanie opens up to Alex about Chad.
Days of Our Lives Picture Recap June 12, 2023:
Dimitri tells Leo he has a score to settle with him. He grabs him but Leo yells for Gwen and she rushes to his aid. She threatens to call the police and Dimitri backs down after getting a text from his mother reminding him of their plan. Leo leaves and Gwen conducts her interview over an intimate lunch. Dimitri uses what he knows about her to paint them as kindred spirits and Gwen is very intrigued.
At The Spectator Chloe impresses Xander by landing a big ad-buy. They flirt and are about to kiss but are interrupted by Maggie who is there to offer Xander Alex’s old job. Xander tells her that he has to think about it and then talks to Chloe about it after Maggie leaves. He decides he is going to turn it down and stay where he is and Chloe is touched that he is doing that for her. They kiss but are interrupted by Leo looking for his paycheck. Xander goes to talk to Maggie and Leo plants seeds of insecurity about Sarah in Chloe’s head.
Bonnie gets home and assures Sarah that her secret is safe with her. Justin happily welcomes his wife home and they talk about her trip but he can tell that she’s keeping something from him. Bonnie breaks down and tells him about Sarah’s pregnancy but explains that she doesn’t want Maggie to know. Maggie walks in on the tail end of their conversation and asks who is pregnant and why she can’t know. Bonnie covers with a lie and Maggie believes her but Justin cautions her to be careful before leaving. Bonnie thinks she’ll be fine as long as she can avoid Xander but sadly for her Xander has just arrived to talk to Maggie.
Chad calls Stephanie to tell her that he won’t be able to make their work meeting. He is at the cemetery to put flowers on Abigail’s grave for the one-year anniversary of her death. Julie joins him and they talk about Abigail and his grief and guilt about moving on. Julie tells him that Abigail would want him to and encourages him to take off his wedding ring to help him with the process. After she leaves Chad takes off his ring and tearfully tells Abigail he will always love her.
Alex goes to Stephanie’s to tell her about his new job. They talk about Chad and his wedding ring and Alex compliments her for being so understanding. After he leaves Chad shows up and tells Stephanie where he was before kissing her. When they sit down to work she notices that he has taken his wedding ring off and smiles.
Tomorrow on Days of Our Lives: Bonnie does her best to keep Sarah’s pregnancy a secret from Xander. Nicole shares news with Eric about her baby. EJ and Stefan spar as Gabi suggests they focus on a bigger threat. Megan tries to tempt Li.
