It is with sadness that we report the passing of David McCallum at the age of 90. McCallum had a successful career in both music and acting. He initially trained as an oboist at the Royal Academy of Music before switching to acting and making a name for himself in the UK film industry. He later gained fame for his roles in the hit TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E and NCIS.
McCallum was married twice in his life. His first marriage to actress Jill Ireland produced three sons. Unfortunately, his adopted son Jason passed away in 1989. McCallum later married Katherine Carpenter and had a son and daughter with her. The couple were known for their charitable work supporting the United States Marine Corps.
David McCallum will be remembered for his contributions to the entertainment industry and his dedication to helping others.
